The Advanced Dentistry Clinic at 12 Libertatii Blvd. has been meticulously designed from scratch to achieve exactly what we intended: top-quality advanced dental services, ensuring increased comfort for both patients and medical staff. The location was not chosen randomly, but in the heart of Bucharest , in a place with an iconic view of the famous Palace of Parliament, where it is always easy to arrive and to find parking if you choose to come by car.
The design theme given to our architects contained, in addition to the hundreds of technical requirements necessary for a dental clinic, two very important aspects: patients should not feel "in a hospital" and the indoor environment should be safe, where the spread of viruses is as limited as possible. For this reason, at the Advanced Dentistry Clinic on 12 Libertatii Blvd., we have implemented a hybrid ventilation and air conditioning system, with a superior energy class, where indoor air is constantly replaced with fresh air from outside.
Comfort and Safety
Our clinic spans nearly 300 m2, striving to combine luxury with practicality while simultaneously adhering to the most stringent safety and medical space composition norms. It comprises:
- 5 spacious surgeries, naturally and LED-lit, ultra-modernly equipped to meet the most demanding standards, where we can perform the most advanced and successful treatments for our patients; most surgeries have at least one extra chair so a parent can accompany their child-patient; during treatments, depending on the chair position, patients can watch one of the 2 multimedia displays available in each surgery
- Modern reception, welcoming and relaxing, where patients and their companions can comfortably wait to be attended by the doctor, served with water, tea, or coffee, browsing a magazine or getting informed from one of our digital or print displays; for kids and teenagers, there's also an Xbox console with a few games that can be played anytime
- A room dedicated to radiology, built to the most rigorous standards in the nuclear field, digitally monitored during exposure for maximum comfort
- A room dedicated to sterilization, where our staff ensures all instruments used are correctly sterilized and kept away from any possible form of contamination
- Discreet toilets, with music, equipped with everything needed for patient comfort
- Other technical rooms or staff rooms
State-of-the-Art Equipment
To ensure comfort for both patients and our staff, the clinic is equipped with Dentsply Sirona (Germany/USA) dental units. Left-handed doctors can work on ambidextrous units, which can be switched from one hand to another in about 2 minutes. All units are equipped with an independent suction pump (not on compressor) to ensure proper suction, optimal energy consumption, and satisfied patients, as well as with automated cleaning and disinfection systems for hoses .
Radiology features an intra-oral Planmeca ProX (Finland) device, the most efficient and with the lowest radiation dose in its class. Exposure is done on phosphor plates then read by the Durr VistaScan scanner (Germany). The advantages of phosphor plates compared to other techniques are that digital radiology uses about 10 times less exposure (radiation) compared to old films , and phosphor plates are much easier for the patient to tolerate intra-orally than a wired sensor.
For super-cleanings and hygiene procedures, we only use the Airflow Prophylaxis Master from EMS (Switzerland) with original and certified accessories, together with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) which has the best prophylaxis results felt by the patient. The device also has a mobile foot to be easily moved from one surgery to another, being 100% compatible with each dental unit - electric and compressed air.
We wouldn't be a modern clinic without a 3D scanner, so we chose the CEREC Omnicam from Densply Sirona (Germany/USA), to be compatible with all the services we provide. The 3D intra-oral scanning (sometimes called digital impression) replaces the traditional impression, is much more pleasant for the patient, and significantly reduces the waiting time at the laboratory (impressions no longer need to be sent physically, but are transferred digitally).
For endodontic treatments, we have a VDW Reciproc endo micromotor VDW Reciproc (Germany), Apex Finder VDW (Germany) and also for super-precision and more difficult treatments we have the best endodontic microscope - OPMI Pico by Carl Zeiss (Germany). Root canal fillings can also be done with automated systems for hot gutta-percha sealing.
All offices are equipped with computers, large screens for presenting and clarifying aspects of the treatments and intra-oral camera for a detailed consultation and multimedia system to create a perfect ambiance.
The best specialists and the best materials
Whether we talk about anesthesia, cleanings, fillings, endodontic treatments, implant surgery or any other dental treatment, the quality of the result depends largely on the most important aspects:
The experience of the doctor performing the treatment: at Advanced Dentistry you will always find the most experienced doctors. Whether we're talking about generalists or specialists, our doctors come with a vast knowledge and experience, gained in Romania and abroad, and a keen interest in practicing their profession successfully.
Instrumentation: we use only established instruments, produced in Europe (Germany, Italy and UK) and the USA.
The materials used: the quality of some treatments directly depends on the quality of the materials used (for example, fillings). Therefore, we work with the best materials in the field, made by companies like Ivoclar (Lichtenstein), GC (Japan), EMS (Switzerland) or Kerr (USA). For implants we are currently using Straumann (Switzerland) and bredent (Germany).
